Warranty, Returns & Exchanges

At Bike Doctor we are proud to offer our customers an easy and effective warranty and returns proceedure so that you can feel confident and assured with your purchase.

Warranty Defined

Conditions under which an item is deemed to be under warranty vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. If damage or abrasion have occurred to your product through regular use ware and tear, it is often deemed to be not under warranty. If your product arrived in it's original packaging and was broken, defective or not in a state that you would expect to find a new product, please contact us via phone - +1 604 315 2704 or e-mail shipping@thebikedr.com. Explain to us the issue and the exact product, from there we will let you know the appropriate next steps to resolve the issue. Please return all parts associated with the products that you wish to send back.

Postage cost and any customs & border fees for warranty items are the responsibility of the customer.

Exchange Defined

Exchanges may be made if an item you received was not as expected, an incorrect size or if the item was not the correct product sent to you by Bike Doctor. Exchanges may be refused if the product is in full working order and is in the condition that you would expect of a new item, but doesn't function as expected for the user through incorrect use. If you would like to make an exchange, please contact us via phone - +1 604 315 2704 or e-mail shipping@thebikedr.com. Explain to us the issue and the exact product, from there we will let you know the appropriate next steps to resolve the issue. Please return all parts associated with the products that you wish to send back.

Postage cost and any customs & border fees for exchange items is the responsibility of the customer, with the exception of an incorrect item being sent to you by Bike Doctor.

Return Defined

Returns are generally deemed acceptable when made within the allotted time period. Returns from within British Columbia, Canada, will be accepted within 12 days of purchase, the start of the 12 day period constitutes the item being marked 'received' by the courier or delivery company.

Returns from other provinces, states or countries will accepted within 14 days of purchase, the start of the 14 day period constitutes the item being marked 'received' by the courier or delivery company.

Returns received by Bike Doctor outside of these time periods will be refused and returned to the senders address. Please return all parts associated with the products that you wish to send back.

Step One

After reviewing the above conditions and before packaging and sending your item(s) send an e-mail to shipping@thebikedr.com and in the subject line state your order number followed by "Return". In the body of the e-mail state the reason you are planning on making the return and for which item. If we receive a return without first completing the above, there may be additional charges for return postage of any items that are not deemed returnable or exchangeable by our inventory team, or, are not covered under warranty. By contacting us before you send your items, it could prevent unnecessary postage and customs fees.

If you are sending an item(s) to us for return, exchange or warranty, please download and fill out the returns form then print and send it back with your returned items. Please ship your completed package to;

Returns within British Columbia, Canada

Returns should be made via insured & prepaid regular parcel post so that you are able to track your package via Canada Post. We are unable to accept returns by courier. Returns will be accepted within 12 days of purchase. Warranty returns are subject to manufacturer regulations.

Returns from outside of British Columbia, Canada

For returns from outside of Canada please write "Canadian Goods Returning" on the outside of your package to avoid border delays. Prepay your package and ship by ground with an insured service. Do not return packages by UPS or other couriers as duty and brokerage fees will be charged and your return will be refused by Bike Doctor. Returns from outside of Canada will only be accepted within 14 days of purchase. Warranty returns are subject to manufacturer regulations.
